A Louisville-based independent Islamic publishing house dedicated to producing authentic, accessible, and beneficial Islamic literature for readers around the world.
Aweys Islamic Publications® is an independent Islamic publishing house based in Louisville, Kentucky. We publish books that make the teachings of Islam — its theology, history, spirituality, family guidance, and intellectual tradition — accessible to English-speaking readers around the world.
We are not a large institution. We are a community-rooted effort, born from the work of the Afrikana Community Center and a genuine desire to place beneficial knowledge in the hands of those who need it most.
In addition to publishing the works of our founder, Aweys Ali (Abu Adnan Al-Sumal), we are committed to supporting and publishing other Muslim authors whose work contributes to education, spiritual growth, and beneficial knowledge.
Our mission is to publish Islamic literature that is authentic, accessible, and rooted in the Qur'an, the Sunnah, and the rich legacy of Islamic scholarship.
We believe Islamic knowledge should be available to every reader, not hidden behind difficult language or unnecessary barriers.
All titles are initially published in English to serve the growing English-speaking Muslim community.
Professional Arabic editions are planned for selected titles, reviewed by qualified scholars before publication.
Books are distributed worldwide through Amazon KDP and other platforms, in print and digital.
We seek to encourage and publish Muslim authors whose work promotes beneficial knowledge and sound understanding.
Revenue from sales supports future publishing and the work of the Afrikana Community Center.
